Strictly necessary
Always onWhat the website needs in order to work: the language you chose, the privacy choice you are making now, and the Success POS configuration you are building. Analytics
Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages are read, how long people stay, which country they are in and which website they arrived from. If you allow this, Google sets cookies in your browser so that a returning visit can be recognised.

The questions worth asking
before the demo.
Most till demonstrations show the same screens. What separates one system from another is how it behaves on a full Saturday, and that is not what a demo shows unless you ask.
A till for a restaurant has to handle order taking, the floor plan, integrated payment and sales reporting. If you serve at tables, check three more things before anything else: whether a bill can be split, whether payment can be taken at the table, and whether orders reach the kitchen without a printed ticket.
The six groups below are what separates one system from another in practice. Ask to see each on your own menu rather than on a prepared demonstration.
| What to check | The question to ask |
|---|---|
| Orders and floor plan | Does the room on screen match your room, and how many taps does a regular order take? |
| Integrated payment | Is the amount sent to the terminal, or retyped by a person? |
| Paying at the table | Can a bill be split, part-paid and tipped without walking back to the till? |
| Kitchen | Do orders reach the station that prepares them, and does the pass see the whole table? |
| Reporting | Can you answer "what did we sell last Friday" without exporting anything? |
| Hardware, support and total cost | Rented or bought, who repairs it and how fast, what a second till costs, and who answers at 20:00 on a Saturday. |
Being invoiced every month does not mean you can leave every month. Ask for the commitment length and the notice period as two separate numbers, in writing.
Ask the same way about hardware: whether it is rented or bought changes who replaces a broken device, how quickly, and whether ordinary wear is charged back to you.
One system for the room, the order and the sales figures, on a till at the counter and on handheld devices in the room.
The amount is sent from the till to the Success Payment terminal, so nobody retypes it.
Splitting, partial payment and tips at the table, in every licence. See Pay@Table.
Screens instead of printed tickets, as a separate product on Success POS Pro. See Kitchen Display.
The standard configuration rents the hardware; purchase is available on quotation. The initial term is 36 months whichever billing frequency you choose.
Sold, delivered and installed in Luxembourg, which is currently the only market it is offered in.
Fifteen minutes, on your floor, with your own menu.
